Kate Maddalena

Dr. Kate Maddalena is an assistant professor at the Institute of Communication, Culture, Information, and Technology (ICCIT) at the University of Toronto Mississauga, with a graduate appointment at the Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science and Technology (IHPST). 

Dr. Maddalena’s research in media theory explores knowledge-making technologies and the epistemology of communication. Her research in writing and rhetoric focuses on the decaying communicative divides between the sciences and their constitutive publics.
