The Institute for Pandemics was established in 2020 with the visionary support of Canada’s Vohra Miller Foundation, dedicated to improving the health of people and the planet. We are deeply grateful to Sabina Vohra-Miller and Craig Miller for their generous $1 million gift to support research, education and knowledge translation activities related to pandemic risk, readiness, resilience, and recovery.

Contributing Partners

In 2022, the Institute for Pandemics was recognized as one of the University of Toronto's Institutional Strategic Initiatives, together with seven contributing Faculties: Dalla Lana School of Public Health, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering, Faculty of Arts and Science, Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto Mississauga, and Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. IfP is housed at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health.
