Tedd Konya

Tedd Konya has over 16 years in research support at the university, with experience managing large, complex multi-institutional research projects including NSERC networks, Genome Canada GAPP, and a national study with a combination of provincial and federal funders. His expertise includes research administration, program development and management, agreement negotiations, partnership development, stakeholder relations, and strategic planning.

Prior to joining the Institute, he was the Research Operations Manager for the national population health study, CanPath (Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow’s Health), based at DLSPH. In that role, he led the development of and managed the team of the National Coordinating Centre, served as project manager for national scientific activities, oversaw national research budgets, including the distribution of funds to provincial institutions and service providers, developed work plans and program evaluation frameworks, and enhanced policies for access to the nationally harmonized datasets of more than 330k Canadian participants. Tedd is enthusiastic about the mission of IfP in advancing pandemic science through research and education.
