Matthew Osmond

Matthew uses mathematics to study evolution. A key focus so far is “evolutionary rescue,” where evolution prevents a population from going extinct, which is important in medicine, agriculture, and conservation. His undergrad was in both math and biology and ever since then, he has been doing math in biology departments.
