Aaron Campigotto

Aaron Campigotto is a Medical Microbiologist and Head of the Division of Microbiology at The Hospital for Sick Children. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto. Aaron obtained his medical degree and subsequently completed his residency training in Medical Microbiology at the University of Toronto.  His interest lies in the development of molecular and next-generation sequencing based clinical laboratory tests, as a means to improve the quality and accuracy of treatment decisions. He is also engaged in understanding and implementation of genomics to understand transmission dynamics.
