Antoinette Handley
Antoinette Handley is a scholar of business in Africa. Her research focuses on the political economy of disease and pandemic; business as a political and social actor; capitalist and middle classes in Africa; the comparative political economy of development; and the role of elites on the continent.
Handley is a Full Professor in the Department of Political Science. She serves also as Vice-Dean, Graduate Education in the Faculty of Arts and Science at the University of Toronto.
