Joseph Munn
Joseph Munn is a Postdoctoral Fellow affiliated with the Sunnybrook Research Institute, ICES (formerly the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences), and The University of Toronto. He holds a MSc in Kinesiology and a PhD in Health and Rehabilitation Science from The University of Western Ontario. Dr. Munn specializes in population based clinical research using health administrative data with a specific focus on respiratory disease. His current projects investigate chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) mortality and exacerbation risk, the effect of COVID-19 on individuals with COPD, and how long-COVID has affected healthcare utilization in the province of Ontario. Dr. Munn’s interests broadly lie in making use of big data to improve medical decision making and the delivery of care to Canadians.
