Kathleen (Kathi) Wilson

Kathleen Wilson is Professor in the Department of Geography, Geomatics and Environment (UTM) and the graduate department of Geography and Planning. Her research focuses on the health of newcomer populations with a specific focus on settlement/integration, determinants of health, and access to health and social services. Her research program is grounded in community-based research design and she has extensive expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods. She is a co-lead on interdisciplinary research examining the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on immigrant and racialized populations in Peel Region.
