Madeleine Mant

Dr. Madeleine Mant is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Toronto Mississauga. Her research integrates bioarchaeology and medical anthropology to investigate the health experiences of people through time, with a focus upon trauma and infectious disease. She is the Principal Investigator of “Going Viral: COVID-19 and Risk in Young Adult Health Behaviour Models” studying university students’ reactions to and perceptions of the current pandemic and "Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow: Engaging Lessons from Epidemic Polio for Vaccine Confidence and Long COVID Management."
