Paul Bozek (Associate Professor, Teaching Stream) is an occupational hygienist and engineer with over 30 years of experience in both the private sector and academia.  His research interests focus on measuring and controlling exposures to harmful agents that are airborne, primarily through adequate ventilation design and use of respirators.  Currently, this includes evaluating the protection offered by respirators for first responders exposed to bioaerosols during expected tasks compared to that predicted by standard fit tests. As program director for the MPH field in Occupational & Environmental Health, he teaches courses in measurement and control of exposures to various airborne hazardous agents.
