Tingting Zhu

Tingting is an Assistant Professor (Teaching Stream) cross-appointed in Computer Science and Geographic Information System (GIS). While teaching courses in both CS and GIS, She has been conducting computing education research as well as pedagogical research in GIS. Her research focuses on competency-based curricula, engagement through storytelling, interdisciplinary instruction, and experiential learning. Currently, She is the GIS Program Director at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM). Also, she serves on the Advisory Committee for Generative AI as well as the Interdisciplinary Programming Working Group at UTM.
