Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table Science Briefs Archive

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Ontario formed the Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table, a group of scientific experts and health system leaders who evaluated and reported on emerging evidence relevant to the COVID-19 pandemic, to inform Ontario’s response.

The Science Advisory Table’s mandate was to provide summaries of relevant scientific evidence to public health and healthcare professionals, and the general public, by integrating information from existing scientific tables, Ontario’s universities and agencies, and the best global evidence.

The Science Advisory Table was hosted by Public Health Ontario (PHO) and provided credible and independent scientific and technical advice to inform the government and the broader public as Ontario transitioned to recovery and to help prepare for and respond to future public health emergencies.

This section of our website is a repository of all the Science Briefs that were published by the Science Advisory Table from 2020-2022.
